December 6, 1924 - March 27, 2014
Lillian A. Skordahl, age 89, formerly of Edina, passed away March 27, 2014, just 17 days after the death of her beloved husband of 66 years. (Clearly, she did not want to leave him unsupervised in heaven.) Lillian was born December 9, 1924 in Pigeon Falls, WI. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Orv; parents, John and Louise Skadahl; brothers, Arden and Stanley Skadahl; sister, Alvilda, and sisters-in-law, Berdella, Elaine and Theresa. She is survived by daughters, Nancy (William) Fong and Kristi Skordahl; grandchildren, Kristina, Brian and Raymond Fong; and brother, James Skadahl. She loved her family, her church, her poetry and the birds she watched over from the family home in Edina. The world is certainly a better place because she lived in it. The incredibly loving end-of-life care we received at Fairview Southdale ICU was a priceless gift to our family. Thank you.

My sincere sympathy to you and your sister. I was just going on line because I saw the news of your father in the Brookings paper. I was reading all the papers mother had laying there. She had been in the hospital with the flu. I now saw your mother passed away too. Again, my prayers are for you and your family. I always enjoyed talking to you at Prairie Sky. Most of my friends have read your book.It was a spiritual insight and ir was very good. Rose
We lived across the street from Scotty and Orv in Richfield (6727 16th) in the 1950s.
Our sister Mary spent a lot of time with Scotty, and Dick and I can remember lots of Chevrolet based conversations with Orv.
After fifty years, we still remember Scotty and Orv because they were really good, unforgettable people.
