Lois A. Sorenson, age 104, of Richfield, passed away on February 22, 2023.
Survived by daughters, Judy Hallaway and Marsha Hanson; grandchildren, Lori McGlade, Jim (Beth) Allen, Jeff (Lori) Allen, Teresa Hanson, Brian (Tara) Hanson and Chris Hallaway; 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Reuben; son-in-law, Gary Hallaway; parents, Walter and Helen Jurgensen; brother, Don Jurgensen; and sister, Bonnie Held.
Memorials preferred to Richfield Lutheran Church.

My great aunt Lois was one of the most kind hearted people I’ve ever known. I wish I could have lived closer and seen her more over the years, but the memories I do have of her are all wonderful. I bet she is already sitting with her sister, my grandma Bonnie, playing cards and laughing. Sending love and prayers to you all. ~ Maren and family

I am so glad that you contacted me with the sad news about your wonderful Mother’s recent passing. Lois played such a large role in my growing years and those of my family. She was my mother’s dearest friend and was pretty, warm, kind and funny! That she was able to gracefully live to reach “104” years old is just amazing. I have never known anyone over 99..
You and your families were blessed to have had her with you for so many years. I am still, however, very sorry for your loss.
