My deepest condolences to your family. Lyla was very special to me and always remember me in the best of ways. She was a very important part of my life growing up (my favorites were the birthday celebrations she arranged for me). She continued to always remember me throughout the years. I was very blessed to have her as my Godmother. Her memory will always be with me.
You are in my thoughts and prayers,
Dawn
I’m so so sorry to hear this. My mom was Marvin’s cousin. She said she didn’t hear back from Lyla this Christmas and she was worried. I remember sweet Lyla in California at my great Aunts (Marvin’s mom) when I was young.
This photo is how I remember my Great Aunt Lyla. My Grandma was Arlene Olson Borgendale. I’ll never forget Lyla coming to stay with my dad Terry and me in AZ. One time when I was 5 years old she taught me how to cook the first thing I ever made, grilled cheese sandwiches. I still make the best ones because of her. We would visit in San Diego and MN and before I was born my dad Terry lived with her in San Diego.
Miss you Aunt Lyla. I know you’re in Heaven with everyone who passed before. Much love.
