Marilyn Jean Beer

Age 86, of Richfield. Marilyn Jean Beer was born in Princeton, MN to Otto and Rose Leider on July 30th, 1938. She grew up on a farm as one of 11 siblings. After graduating high school, she moved to Minneapolis and did bookkeeping for an insurance company. She met Marty at the Kitten Club Dance Hall north of Princeton and they were married on May 17th, 1958. They immediately moved into their home in Richfield where they raised 4 children and lived for 65 years. Together they continued their love of ballroom dancing through many lessons and competitions with their friends. Marilyn also enjoyed flowers, traveling, and shopping. She was a Bluebird and Campfire girl leader and nurtured many others through her home daycare. Family and friends were always very important to Marilyn and she loved spending time with all of them.

Survived by husband, Martin Beer; children, Ramona (Bruce) Cusick, Renee Beer, Lisa (Joseph) Stefani and Douglas Beer; grandchildren, Craig (Caitlin) Cusick, Angela (Adam) Timm, Ryan Stefani, Luke Stefani and Kyle (Jamie) Stefani; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Greyson, Emmett. Preceded in death by parents, Otto and Rose Leider; siblings, Chuck Leider, Dorothy Trunk, Carol Brooks, Jerry Leider and Joann Leider.
