Marilyn Ridge

Marilyn Ridge peacefully passed away on May 5th after 94 years of loving, humble, and faithful service to everyone. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She had many friends, most especially, those in the South Dakota Bridge Club. Among her friends are many co-workers she had the pleasure of working with until her retirement at age 82. Her husband of 62 years, George, preceded her in death in 2014. Mom could get along with anyone and put everyone in her presence at ease with her tender demeanor. She was the best mother any kid could ever wish for to David (Tressa), Janet, and Pat (Lin); a grandmother to JP and aunt to Mark and Cathy. Born in Duluth, MN, she moved to South Minneapolis at an early age and was a resident of Edina for most of her adult life. She attended Christ Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Edynamoes. She loved puzzles, crosswords and was an avid reader. We'll miss you, Mom, Grandma and Aunt Marilyn until we meet again in a better land.
