Marrian Arlo Borgstahl, age 86, of Bloomington, passed away on August 17, 2022.
Born April 8, 1936 to Ewald and Minnie Schmidt in Minneapolis, MN. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lowell Borgstahl; son, Brad Borgstahl; her parents and nine siblings. She is survived by sons, Michael (Cindy) Borgstahl and Tim (Dawn) Borgstahl; daughters, Lori (Dave) Whitney, Julie (Mark) Koch and Kelly (Wade) Adams; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren with 3 more expected soon.
Marrian worked as a cook and manager at a restaurant, was an investigative operator for Bell Telephone Company, and worked several years for Orman Guidance Research. She was a craft enthusiast including knitting, crocheting, stamping, sewing, needlepoint and cross stitch, and many more. She also enjoyed decorating cakes, baking, canning and taught 4H in Iowa. During her later years, Facebook and online puzzles were her main sources of entertainment.
She dedicated her life to her family and was a wonderful mom, grandma and great-grandma. She loved every moment she had with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Children brightened her days and made her happy.
She will be greatly missed. Thank you to the Fairview Southdale Hospice team for their care of our mom and our family.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing Lori (Sista). My thoughts and prayers for you & your family. I so loved this woman! She is so kind & loving. She always followed me on Facebook and enjoyed all my adventures, she commented on everything she believed in and when I did all my visits to my Mom in Memory Care she so enjoyed those loving memories too, very supportive she was. Marrian will be so missed as she is loved by many. Rest In Peace my beautiful friend. Louie
