Marvel D. (Puff) Holland,

Age 91, of Chanhassen, passed away on February 6, 2022.

Born on October 11, 1930, on the farm outside of Danube, Minnesota in Henryville township. Graduated from Shakopee High School and the Charles T. Miller School of Practical Nursing. She lived with her husband and daughter in Richfield, MN for over 40 years. Marvel & Trumen moved to Burnsville (Meadowood Village) for 12 years until Trumen’s passing. Marvel then moved to Eden Prairie and Chanhassen to be closer to her daughter and family. Marvel was a nurse at the VA Hospital and Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis until her daughter started grade school when she moved to the banking industry. Marvel retired from First Federal S&L/Wells Fargo as a Savings and Loan Officer. Outside of work, Marvel was active in volunteering both in the Richfield Lioness group and House of Prayer’s Lutheran Church Altar Guild.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Trumen 'Buzz' Holland; parents Alvin & Clara (Frank) Puff; and brothers-in-law Orville Mjoness, and Dr. Richard Friberg.

Marvel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Nancy (Brad) Perlich; granddaughter, Brittany (Andrew) Hawkinson; sisters, Glorene D. Mjoness of Sterling, VA; and Shirley J. Friberg of Roseville, MN; and nephews, Mark (Susan) Mjoness, Scott (Amy) Friberg & Ken Friberg.
