Merle R. Root

Merle R. Root, age 82, of Richfield, passed away on September 8, 2016. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dianne; his parents, Frank and Stella Root, brother, Raymond Root and sister, Joyce Weiser. Survived by his children and their spouses, James Root, Frank (Anne) Root and Jeanette (Don) Neary; grandchildren, Debbie (Josh), Ashley, Blaire, Jayden, Tyson, Kristin and Cole, and one great-grandchild, Jamison; sisters-in-law, Corrine Root and Roberta Palmer and brother-in-law, Jack Palmer; his hunting buddies at the Lower Tamarack Club, as well as many other relatives and friends.
