Michael “Mike” Nemick

Micheal Nemick, 75, of Minneapolis passed away on December 7th after a 4-year battle with cancer. Mike served as a Chief Petty Officer and Radar Specialist in the Navy from 1971-1988, before transferring to the reserves where he remained until 1998. While in the reserves he met Emilie, and they married on May 3, 1997. Mike loved lighthouses and Godzilla movies, as well as spending time with neighbors and friends. He will be dearly missed by so many.

Mike is survived by his wife, Emilie Nemick; sister, Joan Steinert; stepdaughters, Heather Doyle and Shauna Dodge; stepson, Evan Dodge; and grandchildren, Kieran Oakley, Aine Doyle, Mackenzie Doyle, Greenleigh Dodge, and Torsten Dodge.

He is preceded in death by parents, Joseph Nemick and Adeline Nemick (Koch).
