Dear Mitch, Mike, Family & Friends,
I am in c19 isolation until Th and will be unable to attend the service. I will miss hearing the great stories that will be circulating and seeing you after so many years. He was a long-time golf buddy, faithful customer, and loyal friend. From 2001-17 he would visit me (unannounced) at my ill-fated store in Hutch when he had business in Glencoe (2-3x per yr). He would buy a few things and we would go to lunch. It was always a pleasant surprise. We would update each other and enjoy sharing many memories. One time he brought a box of his sculptures and asked if I liked them. They were incredible. I wanted to buy a couple, but he wouldn’t allow that. I accidentally broke one and he fixed it, free of charge. He was quite a guy and moving around better in his 80’s than I was in my late 60’s. He was after me to lose weight and get back on the golf course with him. When I moved back to Wayzata in 2018, I left him some voicemails. Unfortunately, we never connected. I should have tried harder. I missed the obit in Sunday’s paper but my cousin Craig saw it and sent it to me. Blessings to you all. RIP Milt!!
