Muriel E. Emerick age 97 of Bloomington passed away on March 15, 2016. Muriel was born on June 24, 1918 and grew up in western Minnesota. She married David E. Emerick in 1943. She is preceded in death by husband, David; parents, George and Selma Olson and brothers, Raynold and Leonard Olson. She is survived by sons, Rodney and Jeffrey (Laura); grandchildren, Sonya, Kathrine, Kristen and Kirk and great-grandchildren, Luca and Fen. Private interment Ft. Snelling.

Dear Rodney, Jeff and family,
Our sincere sympathy to you in the loss of your mom & grandmother. Muriel was a first cousin and good friend of our mother, Florence Vellekson. Their fathers were brothers. My mother passed away September 2002. Your mother was a very pretty, happy type of person, who will be missed by many. God bless her memory and may the Lord comfort and give you His peace now and in the days ahead.
