Myron Elton Schuette

Myron Elton Schuette, age 81, formerly of Burnsville, MN passed away on July 7, 2024, at the Minnesota Veterans Home, Mpls.
Myron is survived by sons, Scott, of Cape Coral, FL; Steve, of Chicago, IL, and Sean, of Plymouth, MN; sister, Marilyn Vorbeck; two grandsons and extended family. He was preceded in death by wife, Marianne, his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Myron was born in Glencoe, MN April 24, 1943. In 1964 he married his high school sweetheart, Marianne Howell. After completing a Bachelor of Business degree at the University of MN, he enlisted in the U.S. Army (Officer Candidate School), and served in Korea as a first lieutenant until 1968. Myron and Marianne returned to LeSueur, MN for a job at Green Giant and to start a family. In 1975, Myron and family moved to Eagan, where he had a long career at Church Mutual Insurance Company until retiring in 2005. Myron had a passion for the outdoors, either with a fishing rod or golf club in his hand. He loved basketball, cheering for the Lakers and Timberwolves. He would do anything to support his family and developed long-lasting relationships with friends and colleagues.
Myron always conveyed a positive attitude and enjoyed bringing others to smile through his wit and the twinkle in his eye.
