Nathan A. Jorgensen - Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel

January 22, 1976 - December 13, 2024

Nathan Arthur Jorgensen, 48, of Richfield MN passed away December 13, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with liver failure.

Nathan was born January 22, 1976 in Minneapolis, MN to Donna Peterson and Lloyd Jorgensen. He attended schools in various cities in the metro area and eventually landed at Richfield High School, where he graduated in 1994.

On April 6, 2002, he married Amy Rouhoff. They welcomed son Zachary on December 29, 2004 and son Riley arrived a few years later on July 24, 2008. Together, they enjoyed lots of family vacations.

Nathan had a passion for hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities. He especially enjoyed coaching youth teams in Richfield and being a board member for the Richfield Football League. The Richfield community and all of the friends he made there had a special place in his heart.

Nathan is survived by his wife, Amy; sons, Zachary and Riley; brother, Michael (Hannah) Freund; parents-in-law, Larry and Linda Rouhoff; father, Lloyd Jorgensen and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Peterson; grandmother, Lorraine Peterson and brother-in-law, Chad Rouhoff.

A go-fund-me page is being created to help the family with hospital bills incurred during Nathan’s illness.
