November 22, 1924 - November 12, 2020
On November 12, 2020, Norma Marie Luettinger, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother joined her husband, Vernon Luettinger in heaven. She will be dearly missed by her family: sons, Terry (wife Kit), Rod (Chenoa) and Kirk (former wife, Teresa); grandchildren, Jason (Chierstin), Scott (Jennifer), Gena (Amber), Aaron (Tania), Lenny (Maira) Luettinger, Danielle (Don) Frogner, and Megan; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Chase, Corbin, Caden, Josh, Kyle, Kiah, Ashley, Matthew, Julia, Payton, Phenton, Eve, Keith, and Nathan; former daughter-in-law, Gunta Luettinger. Mother was an only child and grew up on a small farm in rural Ohio. She has always put her family first. She shared a loving 72-year marriage with her husband, Vern, and shared intimately the lives of her sons. She was always cheerful, known in her community for being perky, and in her later residence, the Pines, could never walk or run with her walker, down the hall without giving a special greeting to everyone she encountered. Mom was a good Navy wife for 20 years. She followed Dad to remote places like Midway Island and lived with the gooney birds for 13 months. She was a thirty-one-year volunteer for Fairview Southdale Hospital. She campaigned with Dad for 17 years when he ran for and served on the Richfield City Council. A resident of Richfield, Minnesota, and a member of Richfield United Methodist Church for 64 years, she was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
A private family service will be held Monday, November 23, at 11:00 AM at Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel. The funeral may be viewed on Zoom. Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City, Minnesota.
Memorials may be given to Richfield United Methodist Church.

I am so sorry for her loss.
she was like a mother to me and was always there for me and I will be missing her very much.
Norma and Vern were good friends of my parents Arlene and Loren Law and the four of them had many wonderful times together. I am pleased that you had your mother for many years.
Blessings,
Rev. Dr. Lanny Law
