Orpha Stahn Bennington, age 89, of Mpls. Preceded in death by loving husband, W.E. "Ben" Bennington and siblings, Arthur, Nina, Eleanora, Kermit, Peggy, and Elva. Survived by daughters, Beth (Tom Norris, M.D.) Bennington and Beverly Bennington; grandchildren, Andre, Jascha (Sarah), Katherine and Kristina; siblings, Louis (Cora) Stahn M.D., Fern Anderson, Faye Wohlrabe and many nieces and nephews.
Dear daughters and other kin of glamorous Orpha,
I met and knew of your mother through her niece, Yvonne Meyer Johnson, who has been a dear friend since kindergarten. The last time I saw her was at her sister’s (Yvonne’s mother’s) funeral. She looked uniquely wonderful and healthy then, and was engaged in arranging a lunch date with Yvonne. I am surprised to learn of her passing so soon after her sister’s death. You have my sympathies in your time of grieving.
