February 7, 1942 - January 16, 2021
Patty passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by Alan, her beloved husband of 61 years, and her three sons. Patty was born in Minneapolis on February 7, 1942, to Harry and Sophia Konofaos. She met Alan when she was about 5 years old. Their relationship began as childhood friends and continued on into dating and marriage. They have been the definition of soul mates and an amazing example of marriage to all. Always together, laughing, bickering, antique buying, and caring for each other. Patty was her family's greatest cheerleader. She always encouraged them to be creative, to pursue their passions, and to get off their "doopas" and get to work. She was famous for her Golabkis (Polish cabbage rolls at Christmas and the world's best Pumpkin bars. She had a wonderful sense of humor and joy in celebrating, which included Red, White and Blue eyelashes on the 4th of July. She was kind, but always stood her ground. She seldom had a bad word for anyone, but made her feelings known with a shrug of the shoulders or an eye roll. We always felt her love and support. Her other passion was antiques. She co-owned Traders Market in Elko for 25 years, and the Hopkins Antique Mall for 25 years. She considered her fellow antique dealers her closest friends. Patty is survived by her best friend and husband Alan; sons, James (Emily), Kenny (Jeanne) and Joel (Laurie); her grandchildren David (Colleen), Laura Dee (Marcus), Jonny, Jonathan, Michael, Johanna, Ashley and Jackson, and great-grandchildren, Weston, Henry, Aspen, and August, as well as many nieces and nephews. The service will be live-streamed for those unable to attend and may be viewed at https://cvevent.online.church/

I was so sorry to hear about Patty. Bill, Al & Patty were the best bosses anyone could ever have. They were so kind to me. I will always think of Patty with her smile and quiet solutions to our problems. I never saw her panic or say a bad word about anyone.
That says volumes of who she was.
Rest in Peace Dear Friend,
