Raymond G. Haar III - Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel

October 10, 1966 - August 6, 2023

Raymond George Haar III, age 56, of Richfield. His spirit unexpectedly left the tangible world on Sunday, August 6, 2023; he was kept on life support until his wish to be an organ donor was followed. His family takes great solace in knowing he can help others in need after his death.

Ray was born in Topeka, Kansas to his mother, Linda Jordan and his father, Raymond Haar Jr. Growing up in a military family, he spent time in many states and countries, including Kansas, Michigan, Spain, Illinois, and longtime resident of Minnesota. He enjoyed playing foosball, otherwise known as table soccer, even earning the honor of becoming a professional player. Ray was a man of many jobs, including roofer, truck-driver and most recently, as a Vehicle Operations Assistant at the United States Postal Service. He was known for never passing up on a “good deal” and couldn’t resist stopping by local garage sales.

Ray is survived by his longtime significant other, Robin Jacobson and two children, Brandi Haar and Raymond G. Haar IV. He is also survived by his parents, Linda Jordan, and Raymond G. Haar Jr. (Barb); brother, Robin (Kathy); pet cat, Arthur; as well as many other extended family members.

Future memorial gatherings will be planned for later dates and locations, as many of Ray’s friends and family are far-reaching.

In lieu of flowers, please consider registering as an organ donor in your home state. Please click here to sign up.
