Richard J. Good, "Dick", age 90 of Minneapolis. Went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, John and Leila Good. Survived by wife, of 65 years, Frances; nephew, Wayne Smith; beloved friend and caregiver, Clarice Lien. Lived in Minneapolis all of his life. Dick was a June 1943 graduate of Central High School. During his senior year he was the manager of W.R. Franks' Lyndale Theater until he entered the service during WWII. Played tenor sax in the Army Band while still in the USA. Stationed in the Aleutian Islands. Dick studied banking and other related subjects for two years under the GI Bill. Employed by Norwest Bank, (now Wells Fargo), for 39 years. He was a seventy-eight year member of Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, where he served as Church School treasurer, teacher, member of the Official Board and the Children's Council. He delivered Meals on Wheels for 13 years after retirement. Dick will be remembered for his deep religious faith, cheerful, positive attitude and great sense of humor even during his last illness. He was a devoted animal lover, especially to his beloved pets, Sam, Teddy and Thomas. He enjoyed gardening, photography, traveling, reading and always kept up-to-date on the latest models of cars, especially Cadillacs.
