  1. Valerie Pitel says:

Dear Don and the family of Robert,

I was so sad to hear that you lost your dad in October. And your mom as well…I know how hard it is to lose your parents especially when you were close to them as I remember you were because I lost my belobed Dad (who was my best friend as well) in 2014 and Mom in 2015. I know the challenges of coping with a parent with diminished mental capacity as my Mom suffered from severe dementia for the last years of her life. So unfair that an entire lifetime of memories wiped out. So heart-breaking for those closest to them who expected to be able to relive those memories with them. My Mom lived to be 92 but really left us years before.

My deepest condolences to you and your family; should you want to get in touch my email is faabergpitel@gmail.com.

My heart goes out to you,
    Val
