I want to extend my deepest condolences to Georgia and Melissa during this difficult time. Loss is never easy, even though we haven’t had opportunities to connect, your grief resonates with me after the recent loss of my dad. May Uncle Ronnie rest in peace. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, wishing you strength and peace in the days ahead.

Many years spent with your family on Russell Ave and then on Cedar. Shel was one of our closest friends growing up and we lost her too soon. Recalling your mother Grace and her Oh so delicious chow mein on 66th and Penn. A Richfield legacy in its own right. I remember us packing up in your little station wagon and heading to the drive in on France- the smell of the mosquito coils in the air still reminds me of those nights. You helped open my world to art. Many summers you took Shelly and I down to the Mpls arts program so we could participate in making our own art while learning about artists locally and globally. Its a guilty pleasure I still enjoy today. I am sorry to hear of your passing and everyone in your life will miss you but those waiting for you, will be happy to see you again. Rest in Peace Mr. Johnson. You were one of the good ones.

I met Ron in Athens at 1987. Since then I used to see him and Georgia for many summers during their visit to Greece. After some years in 2007, during my visit to the USA, we made an unforgettable trip to the west side of USA.
Ron was a wonderful person and a great companion for my beloved Georgia. Also he was a distinguished professional, an open minded and progressive person.
I remember and recall our discussions on many and different topics.
Have a good trip to your new destination dear Ron!
My deepest condolences to my beloved Georgia and the rest members of his family!
