Ruben James Anderson

Ruben James "Jim" Anderson, age 92, of Apple Valley, formerly of Richfield, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2019. Jim was born in Steele County, MN. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a long time employee (35+ years) at Sears where he worked as a technician and mechanic. Survived by his loving wife, Helen of 72 years; sons, Gary (Barb), David (Vicky); daughter, Pam Krohn; grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon (Keisha), Stephanie Sullivan (Keith), Gerit Trobaugh, Tom (fiancee Jessica Holt), Dana Monroe, Melissa Burkhardt (Matt), Nicolas, Ashley Krohn, and Coralie Hanson (Mike); 17 (+ 1 baby on the way) great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; brother, Dennis (Sheila) and numerous relatives and friends. Jim will be remembered for his love of family and life.
