Ruth Lour Knutson

Ruth Lour Knutson (Sage), age 93, passed away October 28, 2018 surrounded by the love of family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband, John Andrew Knutson, her parents, grandmother, 3 siblings and 2 close cousins. Ruth was born in Minneapolis, November 10, 1924. She graduated from Washburn Hugh School and was an active member of Richfield Lutheran Church. Ruth and John enjoyed many long friendships, several of whom encouraged her to move to Friendship Village in Bloomington where she enjoyed her last years. Ruth is survived by her sons, John Jr. (Elisabeth) and Brian (Debbie) Knutson; daughter, Mary Jo Swartley (Chris); grandchildren Gretchen, Andy Heidi and Adam and seven great-grandchildren; goddaughters and nieces and nephews.
