Having served with Scott in the Navy (active duty) and Air Force Reserve, along with being a friend of his for many years, I am truly saddened to hear of Scott’s passing. I recall a motorcycle trip we made to Michigan after Scott & I each purchased motorcycles. I still enjoy viewing those photos taken and will always remember & cherish the ride and our campfire talks–talks that were always enjoyable, insightful, and always rounded out the day on a positive note. Back in our Navy days, Scott also helped locate a ’73 Dodge Charger SE-a car I had always wanted-and I was always appreciative of his find and his metro directions. Before GPS, I always relied on Scott’s metro roadway knowledge to get around the metro. Scott was well read and was always there to assist whenever anyone needed assistance and was always a perfect gentleman. My wife and I will always treasure Scott’s wit, humor, knowledge, advice, and most of all–his friendship & willingness to be in our wedding party! Until we meet again, RIP dear friend. You are and will be missed; but, Heaven’s gained.
