Stanley DeFreese, age 82, of Richfield. Born September 24, 1930 in Worthington, MN to Andrew and Mildred ( Schiesser ) DeFreese. Stanley graduated from Worthington High School in 1948, Mankato State Teachers College in 1952 and earned his Masters Degree at the University of Iowa in 1959. He married Dorothy Harper on June 6, 1954. Stanley taught mathematics at Filer, ID for 2 years, Osseo, MN for a year and Richfield, MN for 29 years. He also assisted with musicals at Richfield High for several years. He enjoyed woodworking in his shop. He served in the U. S. Army from August of 1952 until August of 1954. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 58 years; sons, Jeffrey DeFreese ( Cathy ), and Keith DeFreese ( Patty ); grandchildren, Brett ( Dani ), Lindsay, Samantha and Andrea; brother Donald DeFreese ( Virginia ).
