Susan Duckworth, age 74, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
Susan is the mother of Nora Kaitfors (Adam Klotz) and Brandon Duckworth Kaitfors; the late Tricia Duckworth and the late David Duckworth; sister of Diane Hays (Jim) and Kevin Klupe (Michele); Nana of grandchildren Will and Alma. Also many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Susan always took the time to listen or help a person no matter what was going on in her life. She had a great sense of humor and you could count on having a good laugh or cry whenever you spent time with her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her son Brandon and grandkids Will and Alma.
She was an unbelievably strong woman, an inspiration to many, and generous to a fault. We will think of you always.
She was our hero, our guiding light & our unwavering support throughout the years. Her strength, love and compassion is unforgettable!
There is no richness in this world that could give another human being, self-worthiness! Susan provided us just that! She never wavered in our lives! We are so honored & thankful to God for allowing her to be part of our lives. Susan you will never be forgotten & will remain close in our hearts forever! Love you my spiritual sister.
Thank you
Until we meet again.

I didn’t know Susan personally but learned much about her through her sister, my dear friend Diane. My heart goes out to all the members of Susan’ s family. Remember her always and never forget her contributions to your family. She loved each of you in a special way and for a special reason.
God bless each one of you and may Susan rest in the arms of God through His mercy and grace.
This photo really captures Susan’s loving and giving spirit. Always willing to listen and help, share a memory and a laugh. I will miss her so!
She made such a difference in my life at a time I needed it most. I got to be with her when she bought her home.
I’m so sorry for this loss. I knew Susan when we worked at a tough workplace years ago. She was a wonderful ally while navigating a stressful environment! I have no doubt she has touched many lives in her work as a therapist, and mine as a coworker. Take care.
I got to know Susan when Brandon was living at Peace of Mind. What wonderful person she was. All my thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
I am so sorry for for Susan’s family. For the years a knew her, she was a beautiful person. I know it will be one of the happiest family gathering in heaven. Rest in Peace
I had Susan as my therapist and I’m so sad to hear about her passing. She helped me so much in a time that I really needed it. She helped me realize a lot of things and gave me the tools that has made my life so much better. She really believed in me. We stayed in touch after she retired and I thought of her as a friend. It meaned so much to me and I will always be thankful for her.
