"Sue"

Age 81, of Bloomington, formerly Minneapolis and St. Paul. Proud member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Secular Carmelite Community. The first of 7 children, Sue was born April 28th, 1940, on her mother’s birthday, and died May 25th, 2021. She graduated High School from St. Joseph’s Academy, St. Paul, Minnesota. Attended St. Catherine’s University and graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Sue worked for the Minneapolis Park Board,  serving at Folwell Park,  Rev Martin Luther King Jr. Park, Linden Hills Park, and other parks in Minneapolis. An avid dog lover, Sue fostered many dogs adopting several along the way. A love of arts and crafts, of all kinds, Sue was always busy creating one beautiful piece after another. Her interest in travelling and other cultures took her across the country and to Alaska, Mexico and Greece. Sue is survived by her siblings, Toni (Ray) Robbins, Maggie Smith, Joe (Dianne) Caviezel, Cathi (Al) Schmit, Steve Caviezel (JoAnne Owens, friend) and Mary (Jim) Crosson; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special friends Donna, Patti and Susie. Preceded in death by parents, John and Wanda; brother-in-law, Jerry Smith; and sister-in-law, Jane Caviezel. Sue was a generous and loving person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
