Such a big part of my life for many years at Powderhorn Christian school. A great man of kindness and respect for people and children of all ages. You will always be in a part of my heart.

  2. Jerry Holmaas says:

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” The visit I shared with Ted and Rev. Joel Baker is a wonderful memory.

  3. May the Lord bless Ted’s memory. We remember his servant spirit. When he was at Pickeral Lake Bible Camp, this spirit of service was clearly seen. He loved being there and it was great having him there.

  4. Thomas Olson says:

I desire to be more like him in gracious speech, childlike joy, and humble service. What a fine example of a Christian and pastor for us to emulate.

  5. Suzanne Gadbois-Thomas says:

How fortunate I was to have known him when I attended Powderhorn Christian school in Minneapolis!
I’m from SD, and my parents had to go back and forth from SD to Minneapolis for my father’s heart surgery. I had to stay in Mpls. ‘Mr. Berkas’ was so kind to me, understanding my homesickness, and desperate desire to fit in. Looking back, I recall how much his sympathy, undying hope, and diligent professionalism built character in me as an adult. While I’m over 50 years now, when I look back at past teachers, I don’t remember all their faces, certainly not all their names, but i will never forget his.
    Walk in peace with Jesus.
