My condolences to the McAdam family. May God’s tender hands guide you through this most trying of times. Peace and comfort to all.
So sorry to hear about Mrs. McAdam. I had the occasion to visit Gordon School on Friday, January 3 and was just asking about her. I have fond memories of her 3rd grade class. She was a wonderful teacher and one of my favorites in grade school. It was 1976 and the last year Gordon School was open. My sincere condolences to your family at this difficult time. She will always be remembered fondly by many students.
We were saddened by the news of Vi’s passing and wish to express heart felt condolences Glenn and the McAdam family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We will always remember Vi’s warmth and hospitality and feel very blessed to have known her. She will be missed.
To all the McAdams I send my thoughts and prayers. Vi us rejoicing with my parents now!! The following memories have come to my mind about your family . . .
-the Christmas in Livonia when the kiddos got the cowboy gear (I was a bit disappointed that I was too old and far removed to be included!)
-Vi was such a classy lady, not unlike my sister. No wonder Lee loved/loves them both
-Vi had such a tender and melodious voice
-she gifted Stephanie, our first child, with a lovely yellow, smocked Polly Flinders dress
-playing games on Grampa Frank’s porch with Lynn when our summer visits overlapped
-going to the Carpenters concert with Dick
-dinner at Ormstons two summers ago with Gary and Becky
-helping care for Jeanette when she was tiny (I was already an experienced aunt!)
-running into Vi and Glen at the Les Preludes concerts at Interlochen
-dinner at Olive Garden in Traverse City with Lisa and Vi and Glenn, summer of 2012
I’m praying for a wonderful time of rememberance and family fellowship for you all in these next few days.
With love and prayers,
Bethany
