Virginnia Gladys Johnson, age 84, of Bloomington was called home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2020. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Donald Ruel Johnson and will be sadly missed by her children, Steven Johnson and Sue (Marshall) Smith also survived by grandchildren, Steven (Katie), Nate, Ethan; great granddaughters, Addie, Ellie; siblings, Graydon (Connie) Carlson, Ronald (Patricia) Carlson, Karen (Michael) Bergstrom; in-laws, Merlin and Gloria Johnson and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Gaylord and Gladys Carlson; sister Darlene McGrew. Virginnia will be remembered for her beautiful smile, and joyful heart. She and Don enjoyed many winters in Tucson, AZ. She loved games, entertaining, hiking and playing the organ. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them.
The family will direct memorials to Campus Crusade for Christ.

We’re so sorry to hear of Virginnia’s passing and grieve with all of you – but at the same time we celebrate her faith and her presence with Christ. All of us in Tucson (CDO Baptist Church) send our prayers for comfort, peace and confidence in her faith and best wishes for the family.
