I knew him as a strict, but very fair, principal who was well liked by his students and a great role model. My parents moved to another school district in the middle of my senior year. I went to see Mr. Larson to ask if there was any way I could still graduate with my class (’73). He told me he’d absolutely want me to finish my year there, if I could only find the way to get to school. My parents bought me a used car (back then that was not common….there wasn’t even a student parking lot) and I finished my year at Lakeville. I have ALWAYS thought about how kind he was to me, and how much he really made me feel of value. That was 45 years ago, and I knew his photo instantly today. My condolences to your family.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Thoughts and Prayers to this wonderful family. Sorry for your lose.

Dear Sally, I am thinking of you. I loved him like a brother.
I am so sorry for your loss.
As Classmates with Mark, we knew Mr. Larson as a good Father as well as a well respected Principal. Glad I never had to go to his office!
