Wayne Vernon Lindow

Age 88, of Bloomington passed away on Sept 30, 2022 of natural causes. Born Aug 23, 1934 in Green Bay Wisconsin, Wayne loved his early years in Green Bay and would always be a Packer fan. The family eventually moved to Wausau where Wayne finished highschool, ran track and field and served on Student Council. Wayne joined the army in 1954 and served overseas post Korean War. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, moved to MN, married Liz in 1967 and for 52 years called Bloomington home. Viking season tickets and NorthStar games at the Met were enjoyed. Wayne worked for the US Dept of Labor in downtown Minneapolis. On the daily bus ride to and from work, Wayne enjoyed reading the newspaper and history books. In retirement with Liz, weekends were spent at the cabin in Hayward, WI and proudly following the grandkids activities.

Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz" Lindow. Survived by his children, Doug Lindow, Marilee (Kevin) Hoban, Brad (Betsy) Lindow; grandchildren, Jenna Hoban, Brandon Hoban, Julia Lindow, Ben Lindow; and brother, Terry (Gail) Lindow.
